LANGUAGE DAY (Día del idioma)

International Mother Language Day was proclaimed by UNESCO's General Conference in November 1999. The International Day has been observed every year since February 2000to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism.

El día internacional de la Lengua Materna fue proclamado por la Conferencia General de la UNESCO en noviembre de 1999. El Día Internacional ha sido observado cada año, desde febrero de 2000 para promover la diversidad lingüística y cultural y el plurilingüismo.
